The course begins with a longish double track traverse, includes a 1-2 minute climb in the middle and some fast fireroad descents before a sweet new/old singletrack ending, and finishing with a lap on the Coke Circuit Course. The hill climb and super d course will be open to preride on thursday afternoon and friday. The kids will race following the finish of the Super D and will do 2 laps of the Coke Circuit Course.

Trailwork at DMR on Wednesday

This Wednedsay, July 14 — Pizza Party.  Let’s finish the World’s Re Route! Please join us Wednesday at Durango Mountain Resort as we work on the World’s cross country course. We ask each trail user to volunteer at least once a season and this week you can attend trailwork in the high country, while staying cool and sharing in a pizza party afterwards.

Directions: Park at the upper parking lot. Walk to the Plaza up the stairs and to your left where you’ll see the truck parked in front of Purgy’s. Please sign in and grab a tool. We’ll load the chairlift at 4:00pm. If you can come later, a 2nd crew will load the chair at 5:00pm.

Please be on time. Wear/Bring: You’ll need to bring/wear long pants, sturdy shoes, sunhat, sunscreen, rain jacket and a water bottle or camelbak. We’ll provide the tools, demonstrate the work and DMR will treat you to a pizza party.
