Durango Wheel Club TT Series Starts Tomorrow

The DWC TT Series starts tomorrow! Thursday, 4/18!
Meet: North entrance of Iron Horse Inn @ 5:45 pm
Sign in: 5:45 with Ken, first rider off at 6 pm.
Route: Flattened Omega V.2 ; 15 mi, 400′ of climbing.

Description: 15 miles, roughly 400 feet of climbing. Starts at Iron Horse Inn, north on US 550, RT on Trimble, LT on CR 250, turnaround at intersection of CR 250 and Elk Mtn. Rd., Finish at Trimble Crossing. This course has three short climbs and three descents; important for the 15+ guys and gals going to the Tour of the Gila to do rolling terrain that both climbs and descends.

FLC Squawker Classic Road Race

The 2013 FLC Cycling Squawker Road Classic is coming up on April 6th and 7th. With 3 races in two days it is quite an undertaking, especially for course marshals, but if you have a specialty, we’ll use you. If you aren’t racing – then perfect, come help us out. If you are planning on racing please do your part and find someone who can help out. We have 5 registration shifts and 5 course marshal shifts.

FLC Squawker Classic is back in April

Just wanted to let you know that the 2013 FLC Cycling Squawker Road Classic is coming up on April 6-7. For non-collegaite racers we will be offering a Time Trial down La Posta, a downtown neighborhood Criterium and the classic campus loop road race. The flyer is attached. Please put it on your calendars and spread the word.

ALSO – weather permitting, FLC Cycling will start it’s Wednesday evening TT series on March 6th. More details as the date approaches.
