Alicia Rose and Tad Tackle Alaska

DEVO U19 ladies team member, Alicia Rose Pastore and alumni Tad Elliott stepped it up a notch this past weekend in Alaska at the USA Cross Country Ski National Championships. Elliott was the first under-23 competitor across the line and took the very title he earned in mid 2008, on the bike. The finish earned him a spot on the USA World Cup Team. Also earning a shot at overseas competition, Alicia Rose finished 6th in the Jr. National Championships 10k classic race and will race in Scandinavia later this winter. Tad Elliott's on a Pro Ski Team

DEVO alumni Tad Elliott has signed his first pro ski contract this winter with Team Saab/Solomen Factory Team. The team has a history of being the fastest squad in the states. Tad is currently training with the team in Montana at the Factory Team Training Camp. The team has a pretty burly schedule, check it. Tad has also confirmed his mtb team for 2009, USA Cycling Development Team, where he will be the oldest member of the U-23 team at the age of 20. The future looks good.

Grady James Taking Names

DEVO alumni, Grady James has been spotted this season taking names for the Fort Lewis Cycling Team. This past weekend he rode to victory in the short track and has been in the top 5 all season in the highly contested collegiate B category. Grady was a DEVO team member during season uno and found his love of road racing while training that year. He left the team the following year to race the road. He has developed into a strong Cat 3 hard man and is now jumping back into the dirt action in the amazing college racing seen.
