Bicycle Lemonade Helps the BOCANABEACHBIKERS
In November, Bicycle Lemonade built and sent 8 kids bikes to La Bocana, Mexico with a guy from Durango. La Bocana is a little fishing village in the far south peninsula, population of 600 people. One bike went to a little girl in the club who had no bike to ride as none in the village fit. Nice work Bicycle Lemonade. Recycle them bikes! Check out the BOCANABEACHBIKERS web site here.
Cool Junior Cyclocross Participation Stats from Cyclocross Magazine
Junior Cyclocross looks to be on the up in the US. Cyclocross Magazine put together these impressive stats on the number by state of cyclocross junior racers at the races and Colorado, Washington and Oregon look to be the leading forces. Read the interesting article here. Would love to see this work applied to the junior mountain bike scene.
