Snowpack Singletrack Wiggity Wack
There has been MTB tire track spottings all over town this past weekend, with chart popping first hand accounts escalating this weekend. Seems as if snow snowy singletrack is safe. A little boot-packin and a sub 32 is all it takes. Slimy Gulch, Meadow Loop, Nature Trail, Colorado Trail, Lions Den and yes, even Elke’s Drop in, all suspect to early, burly season shredding. Hogsback has declined to comment at the moment. Drop the tire pressure and get ready for a serious shred seshsure.
Annie Cheeney, New Durango Devo Director
Hi everybody! My name is Anne but, you can call me Annie. I am 30 years old, have short brown hair, a green Santa Cruz Juliana, I love to ride and really excited to be your new director. While Sarah is in Argentina I am going to do my best to stay organized, keep the communication flowing, fundraise, help out at the races and, of course, ride bikes with you. In order to be a better and more skilled coach I am taking the test to become a USA Cycling certified coach. I can’t wait to ride with the Jr’s this Spring! You guys have inspired me so much that I started racing last summer and tagging along on a few practice rides. It was one of the most fun summers of my life! Then I got to ride with Deb Hall and the rockin’ first graders in the Fall. Watch out you guys, they are fast! Chad, Kricket and I are working hard together to plan an awesome season for ALL of us. We have so much support from Devo board members, parents and local bike shops that I am certain we can pull it off. I am honored to be involved in the DEVO mission because I can’t think of anything cooler. Please, feel free to call or email me with any questions or news @ 764-5758 or annie@durangodevo.com. I am ready to ride, how about you?
