2008 Worlds Team Member to Have Surgery Thursday

U-19 DEVO/TenTen downhill racer, Taylor Borucki will undergo exploratory surgery on his right ankle after badly spraining it two weeks ago while riding in the Test Tracks, (rumor has Taylor injuring himself jumping on the bed.) It was later that same day that the 2008 USA World Team was announced, Taylor being one of seven named to the junior downhill squad. He is looking to be back on the bike in six to eight weeks. Taylor worked hard over the rough winter months, training with coach Chad Cheeney to make the team. Bad timing took care of that. Cross your fingers for Taylor and give him a high five for accomplishing his goal. The World Championships taking place in Italy this week, fellow Durangatang, Todd Wells was also named to the senior cross country team. Check here on through the weekend to keep up on the results.

Thank you Scott for your demonstration and passion for a properly tuned bicycle.

BMX Racing is Rad

This weekend I tested the waters in the BMX scene here in Durango and man was it cool. I highly suggest giving BMX a chance. It was not only super fun on the bike, ripping the track, but just being around all the cool little rippers was worth it. There are tons of race dates on the weekends and on wednesday nights. DEVO riders, Stephan Davoust, Chris Blevins, Shane Ellis, Tilden Berriman, Adam Short and Wyatt were all there throwing down. Super fun. Check out their website for more info at DurangoBMX.com.

See you out there

Coach Chad
