This Wednesday is the Devo Jr/Fort Lewis relay short track race. Devo Jr riders will be matched up with a Fort Lewis rider from the cycling team to complete a short track relay race. The Relay Race STARTS at 6 pm, so please plan on arriving to the Factory Trails by 5:30 to get the teams formed!
Where: Factory Trails behind dorms (do not park here, but at big parking lot by football field)
When: 5:30 (race starts at 6 pm)
Cost: free
Who: All of Devo jr and FLC Cycling are welcome!
Example of a team:
Devo Jr kinder (1 lap) who hands off to Devo Jr 2nd grader (2 laps) who hands off to
Devo Jr 5th grader (2 laps) who hands off to Fort Lewis Rider (2 laps). Total time of team relay 20-30 minutes.
All Wednesday groups (except Pre school) meet up at the college that day. So, we will end our ride at the Factory Trails at 5:30. If your Wednesday rider does not want to participate in the race, plan on telling your head coach as we will send one head coach back to the big parking lot at football field by 6 pm. Parents of Devo jr weds. riders who want to race, please plan on coming to the short track at the Factory trails by 6 pm as things will get kinda crazy and Devo coaches will be handing off the responsibility of their riders at 6 pm.
This is a great opportunity for Devo riders to meet, greet and race with the National Champion College team: Fort Lewis!!!
