There is a new Mountain Bike Trainer in town, Wilderman Functional Fitness. Wilderman Functional Fitness was created by the 2007 Collegiate Downhill National Mountain Bike Champion, Cody Wilderman and his wife Linda Wilderman. Cody Wilderman also races motocross at the No Limit series in the B class as well as the WEBE Hare Scramble Series in the A Class. Wilderman Functional Fitness has developed a comprehensive month-by-month mountain bike specific training program. This program is designed to take any athlete to the next level by using strength and conditioning exercises that help to improve safety, speed, agility, strength, and mindset on a mountain bike bike. Wilderman Functional Fitness offers one on one coaching, program development, nutritional advice and more. Wilderman Functional Fitness would like to offer any Durango Devo racers the opportunity to improve their strength with programs for just $100/month just for being a member of Durango Devo. This program is a comprehensive training program that includes: one personal training session per week, weekly detailed workouts, unlimited phone, email and Skype consultation, as well as sound nutritional advice. All trainers at Wilderman Functional Fitness are CPR/AED certified as well as certified fitness trainers by the International Sports Science Association. Currently, Wilderman Functional Fitness is responsible for the strength and conditioning program of multi-time National Champion Sage Wilderman and AMA motocross racer, Coby Adair.

Working with Cody and Linda is great because they provide the discipline you need to work hard and get stronger as well as the knowledge to do the exercises correctly. Each time I workout, I know for sure what I am doing is safe and will benefit my riding. I am confident that by working with Wilderman Functional Fitness I will be able to reach new heights as a racer this season.”-Sage Wilderman
