Racers Lemans style mass start through the Coca-Cola Bike Park circuit course and ride to the top of lift 8 using the updated 90 Worlds singletrack reroutes and the mountains sweet doubletrack. The finish is at 10,000 feet! Riders regroup, then LeMans start in gender and ability groupings back down the mountain. Racers must do hill climb to race Super D.
The Super D course was designed by MTB Hall of Famer Greg Herbold and follows some of the climb route before turning off and descending down the 90 Worlds lap descent ending featuring several new Trails 2000 singletrack reroutes. The course begins with a longish double track traverse, includes a 1-2 minute climb in the middle and some fast fireroad descents before a sweet new/old singletrack ending, and finishing with a lap on the Coke Circuit Course. The hill climb and super d course will be open to preride on thursday afternoon and friday. The kids will race following the finish of the Super D and will do 2 laps of the Coke Circuit Course.
Start Times; Mass Start 9am, Super D starts 10:30am (approx.) Kids race begins after the Super D finish.
Racers will be scored using finish order placing and not time. Lowest score of the 2 races wins, with the tiebreaker going to the better placing in the SuperD. We will keep times for the fans. Scoring will be done by 4 Corners Timing.
