It does seem silly nowadays that cycling is not a school supported sport. Well thats about to change in 2010. Running off the successes of the NorCal High School Racing League, and recent addition SoCal League, Colorado has bitten from the apple and will launch a scholastic season for 2010.
The season appears to be in september with a state championship race in October. Check out their site for more information.

June 2010: Leaders Summit (Training for Head Coaches, Asst. Coaches, and Ride Leaders)
August 2010: Beginner/Intermediate Rider Camps
August 2010: Team Training begins
August 2010: Team Registration opens
September 2010: Races 1 & 2
October 2010: Race 3 & CO State Championship
