Tour de Ski is Next

It is ski season for sure, not bikes, so head up to Durango Mountain Resort next saturday, January 24th and ski. Sign up can be done at Pine Needle, Backcountry Experience and Active.com. The race course takes the skiers through the Hermosa Valley, on the backside of the mountain, and for a super bonus ending, leaves the racers at the top of lift 4 to descend back to the base. We have been told by the promoter, Jeanne Pastore, that this event is for everybody, not just skate studs. There are several distances offered, at 6k, 12k, 22k and the epic 42k.
